The MM1 is a gas mask of Soviet origin.
MM-1, which was used originally by the Navy for communications, but the Army used it for their own radio crews and also for its armor crews. It was a part of the RSH-4 Kit consisting of Facepiece, Hose, EO-16 Canister, Anti-fogging Inserts, NMU Lens Outserts, Spare Voice Membranes, and Carrier.
There are 2 variants of the mask. The MM1 and the MM1b.The difference is the pad on the head harness.
The mask was also used by the Yugoslavian navy.
