The K6-3 (GRAU index: 6B6-3) is a titanium helmet of Russian origin.

Overview

The K6-3 is a direct copy of the Altyn titanium helmet, and is identical to the Altyn with only some minor differences. It was produced by Altyn's producer NII Stali as a commercial version of the Altyn, as the Altyn was made for special force usage and NII Stali did not have the right to sell them.

While closely resembling its predecessor the Altyn, the key identifying factor for a K6-3 is that it lacks the radio which Altyn had. The design of the edge of the pixelglass visor on the face shield is also different, being a thicker titanium frame with visible screws.
