The K6-3 (GRAU index: 6B6-3) is a titanium helmet of Russian origin.[3][4]
Overview[]
The K6-3 is a direct copy of the Altyn titanium helmet, and is identical to the Altyn with only some minor differences. It was produced by Altyn's producer NII Stali as a commercial version of the Altyn, as the Altyn was made for special force usage and NII Stali did not have the right to sell them.[1][3]
While closely resembling its predecessor the Altyn, the key identifying factor for a K6-3 is that it lacks the radio which Altyn had. The design of the edge of the pixelglass visor on the face shield is also different, being a thicker titanium frame with visible screws.[1]
