The Italian Army Combat Uniform is a series of uniforms produced for use by the Italian army consisting of a set of jacket and trousers. They are made of a polyester cotton rip-stop material and come in a variety of camouflage patterns for different environments. [1]
History[]
The First Generation uniform in desert vegetato camouflage was utilized by Italian armed forces during Operation Ancient Babylon.

First Generation (Model 2004)[]
Features a pointed collar, vertical pockets, button closures on the wrists and neck
Second Generation[]
Features large green velcro panels on the arms and additional pants pockets.
Third Generation (Model 2013)[]
Features side zip chest and shoulder pockets, vegetato camouflage colored velcro , and velco closings for the neck and wrists. Overall design borrows many features from the Army Combat Uniform. Produced to the 2013 specifications of the Italian Military of Defense.[2]
