The Ataka Backpack (Russian: Aтака, English: Attack) is a series of backpacks of Russian origin.

Overview[]

The Ataka Backpack, with a capacity of 60L, is designed to carry anything from personal belongings, equipment, and ammunition to small arms and shovels. The backpack has a main container with a pull string cover, two side pockets, one pocket on the front side, as well as the top flap with zipper pocket. The bottom flap of the pack is fastened with a double zipper.[1]

It has been produced with a few different variations in different materials and configurations.

Ataka-0[]

Made of avizant material.

Ataka-1[]

Made of avizant material.

Ataka-2[]

Older versions were produced in both avizant and ripstop. Newer versions are made of a nylon/codura material and come in a variety of camouflage patterns and colors.

Ataka-3[]

Molle webbing was added to the outside of the pack. The front pouch was separated from the pack and can be attached or detached. They were produced in a variety of camouflage patterns and colors.

Ataka-4[]

Nearly identical to the Ataka-3 but with some changes to the buckle system.[2]

Ataka-5[]

An interior pocket has been added for a hydration bladder as well as a hole for a hydration tube that runs along one of the shoulder straps.[3]
